    Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if the Level 6 or Level 7 NVQ is right for me?

While they are both for those in managerial positions, there are some differences between the Level 6 and Level 7 NVQs. The Level 7 is geared towards those in senior management roles, such as a Managing Director or someone in senior management with sign off capabilities while the Level 6 may be more suited to those who are in a hands on site management role.

We know that no two delegates are the same, and we are here to take your needs on board and point you in the direction of the right course for you.

Are there any prerequisites for taking this course?

The great thing about taking a Level 6 NVQ in Construction Site Management is that you don’t need any prior academic qualifications to take part. So, if you are someone who has never done well with classroom-based learning or exams and coursework, then this course is perfect for you – as you will be proving your skills as you work.

You do need to already be working in a managerial role to take the course. Not sure if your position qualifies you for the course? Get in touch with us, and we’ll tell you if you are the right fit for this NVQ.

What is an example of site management?

If you want to take the NVQ in Construction Site Management, you’ll need to be working as a construction site manager or assistant site manager. What do these roles entail? You will organise the day-to-day site operations such as work schedules, staff inductions and subcontractor management. You will also oversee risk management, health and safety compliance and safe storage and distribution of materials.

Sound like you? Then you could benefit from the Level 6 NVQ! Site management can vary depending on the demands of a particular job, so please do get in touch to tell us more about you.
