If an employer has identified that first-aiders are required in their workplace, the HSE state that they must ensure anyone selected to become first aiders undertake the appropriate training. This 3-day course delivered by our experienced trainers is for those working in a high-risk industry including construction, manufacturing, warehousing, sport, hospitality and on the railways.
What is covered in the course?
The 3-day First Aid at Work courses are accredited by TQUK to comply with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974. The course covers the following aspects of first aid to ensure that in an emergency situation you will be confident in delivering potentially lifesaving first aid:

Assessment
The training is undertaken as blended learning and takes place over 3 consecutive days. The first 2 days undertaking the practical elements of the training can be either at one of our training venues or at your premises if you have 6 or more delegates. The last day will be an online session, compounding your knowledge of first aid.
Certificate
Your certificate will last for a period of three years, following which you will need to take refresher course before the existing certificate expires, although under current guidelines it is recommended to refresh your first aid training every year.
